Sedeo Ergo Power Wheelchair is a Game Changer
Sunrise Medical announces its most advanced power wheelchair offering to date. The QM-7 with SEDEO™ Ergo seating builds upon Quickie’s premier line of adult power wheelchairs with the addition of the highly-anticipated SpiderTrac™ 2.0 suspension, advanced SEDEO Ergo seating system supporting complex seating and positioning needs, C-Me™ elevate feature and a host of state-of-the-art electronic features and controls. The QM-7 exceeds power and maneuverability expectations with its proven mid-wheel drive platform.
The combination of the QM-7’s cutting-edge SEDEO Ergo seating system and advanced SpiderTrac 2.0 suspension create an incredibly smooth experience on various terrains, unique fit for the user, unparalleled comfort in every position and increased independence. This new product redefines powered wheelchair technology with superior drive performance, patented biometric positioning, C-Me 12-inch elevate feature, power recline with anti-shear, advanced mechanics and industry-leading electronic options.
Pete Coburn, Sunrise Medical President, U.S. Commercial Operations, said “The new QM-7 with SEDEO Ergo seating is designed to be the most innovative mid-wheel drive power chair in the industry. This design was driven by feedback from clinicians, dealers and end-users to create the best experience for the client. From the SpiderTrac 2.0 suspension, to the SEDEO Ergo seating system, to the advanced Ctrl+5 and PG Drive controls and electronics, there is no single power wheelchair in the industry that can offer all the features and performance of the QM-7”
Central to the QM-7’s new enhancements is its SEDEO Ergo Seating Advanced Power Technology featuring six memory positions and power recline with anti-shear. Optional swing-away side bolsters simplify transfers, and the system can be tailored to each user’s individual seating needs with height, width and angle adjustable armrests, molded foam back, structural foam cushion with Visco overlay and Whitmeyer headrest with quick-adjust hardware.
Unique to the QM-7 is the SpiderTrac 2.0 suspension, providing optimized front and rear wheel articulation keeping all six wheels grounded while traversing various terrains and obstacles. Users will experience unparalleled stability and security while negotiating uneven surfaces and transitioning from ramps to level surfaces.
